| OK sell something that's worth
something. I just rented out my apartment, now I live on the
street but at least I have money.
Most everything you have is worthless. The only things
of value are ideas:
actors sell movies
scientists sell theories
professors sell answers
wall street sells the future
kmart sells for less
botox sells for more
hospitals sell drugs
drug companies sell happiness
restaurants sell food
Most of these products are not tangible, even "food"
is not tangible. Food disappears inside you and reappears
as something else later, magic. Food is as abstract as time.
It is regular, it is everyday, it is for all of us, it is
taste and mass, but if I don't think about it food is as
important and invisible as air.
We live in an imagined world, a conceptual world.
So take any of your ideas and turn it into something that
no one else can do at that price, or that fast.
If you can't get any money for your
idea it's because, the quality is inappropriate,
the timing is wrong, or nobody knows about your idea because
they don't understand or you haven't told them.
If you have the idea for some special invention that you
want to patent just write your idea down, draw diagrams,
and publish it in a public place. No one can patent
public knowledge and even if your idea were new the
team of lawyers on the other side would paper whip you into
a corner if you stood to make any money.
Let's have an example: your idea is that people show
their genitals in public.
Find out if there are laws against this in every state.
Wear a nice pair of "freedom
pants."
Get arrested for modeling your "product" but make
sure you're near the news headquarters and go out around
11 AM to be on local TV news or earlier in the day (during
the commuter rush) for journalists to notice you. Have a
friend call newspapers and offer photos and a news scoop.

Now that people know about your idea, see how much they'll
pay for it. If only a few people want to pay a lot of money
you're an artist. If a lot
of people want to see but no one wants to pay any money
you're an activist. If some
people will pay some money you're a fashion designer. If
everybody wants to hear your ideas but no one wants to look
at you, you're a radio personality
or writer.
If you have any of your own (real life) examples. Email
me and I'll review your ideas in my next article: Make more
money than ever before.
